@jim_jcokinos3 Half my feed is just people asking for followers. For me, this has only been very recent. I don’t understand. I’d prefer quality followers that I actually enjoy their posts over quantity. I don’t care about reaching a number or gaining a check mark.

@jim_jcokinos3 It seems to happen pretty organically if you just stick with a couple of people who recommend folks or allow you to add your name to a list of like minded followers. If people don’t follow back just move on. IMHO

@JanetMoon1958 I agree. Mine has been totally organic. Except when I get thrown on a train unknowingly . I rarely follow folks first and just figure if you like what you see over here we’ll get along great.

@jim_jcokinos3 I've seen an unseemly amount of people begging for followers since Elon rolled out the free check marks. People have become more aggressive just in the past couple of weeks. Insane!

@jim_jcokinos3 Well I am not a hobot or scammer but do not have a large following and if we are able to encourage people to follow us to build our accounts then we don't get thought of as hobots and scammers. It's all an illusion.

@jim_jcokinos3 It takes a lot of time sifting through the scammers and hobots. There are so many great accounts that I follow yet I don't get to interact with them. We have some amazing and fun people in our community!

@SagesMonya Yes we do. And that’s my great. Concern right now. I am in such a great circle of people and I find at times I’m struggling to have a meaningful conversation or relationship with them.

@jim_jcokinos3 I'm not sure if it's obsession. They see large accounts and want to have the same. Fast. Personally, I like to help small accounts grow because they could reach a wider viewers for their posts
