103 Years ago today, this was a very different scene at the historic Graving Dock at Halifax Shipyard. The #HalifaxExplosion at Pier 6 led to 2000 lives tragically lost & over 9000 injured. We pay respect to them and countless others that came to the relief of victims.

ICYMI … From Halifax Harbour to Canada's North. Five of our shipbuilders were on board the future HMCS Margaret Brooke in late February and early March for Ice Trials. Average ice thickness of 1.037m, with a maximum ice thickness of over 2 metres.
