"Let the players decide it on the field"
You weren't saying that in February when the holding call gave you guys 4 extra downs to win the Super Bowl...

postgame thread:
Patrick Mahomes on the penalty taking away Kelce's big play:
"For football in general, to take away greatness like that, for Travis to make a play like that... As fans you want to see the guys on the field decide the game... Lost for words."

But, that’s not the point, is it? Offensive neutral zone infractions are rarely called because the ref will tell the player or the coach before the snap. Why? Because those 2-3 inches don’t affect the play like it does when a defender gets the jump on the QB.

Doesn't matter, an offsides is an offsides....
If they want the players to decide the fate then they need to call themselves out as hypocrites for saying that it was a good penalty call during the SB against the Eagles....
Scary part is, I hate both teams

Doesn't matter, if you're gonna call one penalty in crunch time you gotta call them all, borderline or obvious, it doesn't matter. They set a precedent that they will call penalties in crunch time, gotta be consistent.

What about the flags were picked up last night in Dallas v Eagles game? All those up flags favored Dallas. But it’s part of the game.

The irony that is lost on them is the players on the field did decide the outcome of the game. A WR lined up offside and got flagged for it. Line up onside amd there is no flag. Not very hard.

How about the second third down in the AFC Championship last season? Patrick should have spoken on then too. I guess he will only say something if it benefits him. Cry more.
