Nobody bought a ppv because Kurt Angle was on it, but 9 times out of 10 his match was the most talked about moment the Monday after.
He’ll never be the draw or a Austin or Cena, but he was never going to, he is, in my opinion, the best technical wrestler of all time

Yeah agreed in terms wrestling he was one of the best, wasn’t a star that sell you out but you’d talk about some of the things Angle would pull out. Every move was crisp.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. He was never the "Top Draw" in the business, he was there from the transition from Austin to Cena. But after every single PPV you would have talks around the watercooler saying "did you see Kurt Angle's match? Awesome huh?"

To say "NOBODY" bought a PPV for Kurt is a very bold statement to make & is definitely false.
You clearly forgot that Kurt was carrying Smackdown when Austin went PT to RAW, Triple H stayed on RAW, The Rock left for Hollywood, Cena was just starting, Eddie wasn't ME, & Taker ABA

He’s on the guys who’s going to be seen as a legend, but never be the guy.. same as HHH , he was never the top guy for me, he was the guy the top guy faced

Agreed. I even think he was better than Bryan. He was more athletic and had more of a complete skill set in the ring. Bigger and stronger too
