Unfortunately the pain is probably not going away anytime soon. Went through this 4 years ago (breast cancer) and I still have residual pain. Not fun!

Sorry for what you endured π question though: does this video piss you off? It feels like it would be a slap in the face to women who have endured mastectomies bc of cancer. God bless.

I do feel anger at her parents, especially her mother. I would never want one of my daughters to go through this! I feel sadness for her. I wonder if sheβll regret it in the future. What if she detransitions and then can no longer nurse her children? Heartbreaking!

Sorry, Staci. We belong to the same club no one wants to join. I had breast cancer surgery almost 20 years ago- and I still experience pain occasionally. Hang in there. Life is good. Even when it is not-lol.

Itβs got to be absolutely heartbreaking to lose a natural breast you desperately want to keep, and then to see people intentionally amputate theirs for cosmetic reasons. (And THEN, demand sympathy!)
π’ Iβm so sorry about the cancer and hope it is all behind you.

Thank you! It is frustrating to see people willingly doing this to themselves, and I feel like asking, βWhere is your mother? How could she let this happen?β Very sad!

Same here. I had a DMX almost 3 years ago because LCIS and a high predisposition to cancer. I still have issues with pain and had two separate PT rounds because of scarring and nerve pain. I bet no one ever mentioned that to them! Not a surgery for the faint of heart.

I had ILC and went through 2 lumpectomies before I finally decided to get the DMX. It was the best decision in the long run, but youβre right, itβs definitely not for the faint of heart!

And you are the one I can empathize with. Not her. My niece's mother died of breast cancer and she got the test which showed she would likely get it as well. She opted for a preventive double mastectomy and reconstruction Hard decision but I support that one.

Iβm so sorry, when I watched this I was wondering if itβs the same surgery women with breast cancer have, this answered my question and I feel for every woman thatβs had to go through this, my heart goes out to you all, I canβt imagine how painful it is in a multitude of ways β€οΈ

I donβt know why anyone would risk the permanent nerve damage/irritation from this procedure. Iβd urge trans friends to do a liposuction reduction and wear compression garments rather than full mastectomy.
