What has girls(regardless of ethnicity) obsessed isn't the actual musicallity of kpawp but the visual aspect and aesthetic of it all. The music industry doesn't even let black girls thrive in the few genres they designate as "black music" ofcourse they'll feel this way

My personal feelings towards fraudpop industry aside, a lot of black girls just want to make colorful bubbly music and have that fun pretty visual aesthetic that no one seems to think fits them because there's either no rep or they're never allowed to flourish
