Rand Paul's stance on anti-vax and anti-mask couldn't have anything to do with his wife's purchase of stock in a company promoting coronavirus treatments, could it?
Surely he wouldn't purposely put people's lives in danger just so they could run up the stock price?

Why not? When Trump was asked what he wanted people to do with hydroxyquinolone his response was:
"I want them to buy it."
Not benefit from it. Not get it free through our government program. "...buy it."
I wonder why.
