@hammondweather Yep, ditto - with only a single coal fire downstairs,the bedrooms got rather chilly!

@hammondweather My student house had it on the inside of the windows, but worse - the pointing failed and as the rain leaked in (and subsequently froze),I had a glacier down my bedroom wall.

@hammondweather 1987 I remember well & many other years,just doesn't seem to be the same these days,we don't get the winters like we used too years ago
