I've been art directing a show for the past year called Bluey ! It's on ABC kids in Australia. They're good dogs we've been working hard on, you should check it out! Hopefully I'll be able to post some dev art from it soon B^)

It’s all been kind of surreal working on a show that’s so firmly set in Brisbane. It feels like I was weirdly destined to work on this because all I do all day is ride around on a bike painting Brisbane sunsets and looking at the ornamentation on Queenslander houses.

It's a genuinely funny show and I find it weird to think it's even a kids show at this point. It seems more like a slice-of-life aussie/bris-core romp. It's also so refreshing to see a show where girls are just, kids? Who just run being goofballs and laughing at horse poo

Anyway like I said, I hope to be posting some dev art in more detail soon when I have time. But I will be a huge dork and say it’s been such a privilege working with the team behind this show because it’s a real special one.

Our family absolutely loves Bluey. It’s great to have a kids show that captures realistic Aussie suburban family life and is so easy to relate to. Plus you animated floss dancing?! Amazing

My kids in Japan went nuts whenever I played “Bluey” in class for them! It’s an excellent kids show with beautiful artwork and has been a very fun way to show Australian culture to the little ones! Thanks mate!
