@DaleCoopee
Please... I just started watching it, and while I'm really enjoying it, I am NOT looking forward to the later seasons for this reason (among others) 😔
@gertritude
I've always done this but with good media too. Just always thinking "what if the actors think this is cringe?" and it takes me out of it with a shiver of embarrassment
@gertritude
I thought I was the only one. It's worse with animated shows, like I just have to imagine these people alone in a room making silly little noises
@gertritude
I’ve had that issue AS AN ACTOR. I’ve been in classes or workshops or something and suddenly realize we’re all doing exaggerated voices to each other or literally playing pretend and just get so embarrassed or weirded out.
@gertritude
Ok but ive tried explaining this to so many people as the reason why i usually enjoy and can connect with animated media better than live action bc when its REAL PEOPLE I can't help but just see actors and rehearsed lines. FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT
@gertritude
For me it's the fact that, no matter how intimate or isolated the scene may be, there's like a crew of 10+ people just standing a few feet from where these characters are at all times
@gertritude
I just imagine them loving every second of it. Watch Doctor Who and you’ll get it, the actors that play The Doctor fucking love doing it(usually).
