I don’t agree with this change. New comer or not there should be a reward for technical inputs. Having the same damage gives no incentive to learn how to do technical inputs. There is nothing to strive for trying to learn the game. Why have technical inputs in there in the first…

Isn't this ironically bad for new players? Like giving someone with yearsnof experience an instant DP would definitely make the game more fun right? Not teaching fundamentals or neutral.

“Fighting game newcomers on the other hand don’t have much experience.”
Well they will be learning with this one. Since the inputs are not even that complex. Even the decision making with the new mechanics are not that challenging. This is plain boring for veteran fighters.

Ngl this man said a whole lot of nothing. Could just said "We hear you but we're doing it anyway." Simple inputs or not if the netcode is great and the roster is fun, I'm in the building.
@gbvs_official
It doesn't make sense. Newcomers could already use simple inputs without caring about technical inputs before.
Now veterans are still at an advantage because of their experience AND they can 1 button dp newcomers on reaction.
All this does is changing how the game is played at hl

When you lower the skill ceiling in this context for execution you may be making it easier for newcomers but you’re also making it easier for veterans. Even Technical inputs in DNF duel do something which is you get MP faster , no reward isn’t really fun
