Your occasional reminder that having the government's permission to get a haircut or sit outside a pub does not mean you have more freedom. It means you have no freedom whatsoever.

@gazcon @Noworinfive At the moment getting a haircut or going to the pub has a risk because of the virus. Arguing for a return to normality during a pandemic in the name of "freedom" is like arguing for the freedom to open your curtains and turn on all your house lights during the WW2 blackouts.

@gazcon "It is important not to confuse freedom with mere permissiveness" -Theodore Kaczynski, Industrial Society and its Future. I wish people would understand that. It's like they have genuine Stockholm syndrome. "YAY! We're allowed out from mid May!" Allow? You're an ADULT! I despair.

@gazcon @Mysteron11 Here's your occasional reminder that it's a public health measure to help save lives - and not an infringement on your freedom. Have some empathy.

@gazcon @GRunowski They can't wait to see all those compliant, subservient, mask wearing addicts turn out and behave according to their diktat. This can only got worse.
