If trump is innocent what is there to hide. If he has done nothing wrong why not comply with subpoenas. If there is no corruption why not testify before the J6 committee. If the allegations are false why not testify before the Grand Jury.

Yes I agree. He should be delighted to get the evidence to the prosecution so that they can see for themselves that he’s as innocent as he proclaims himself.
I mean, it’s almost as though he’s guilty… 🙄

Because - painful though it is to apply it to Trump - if you infer guilt from silence, we are opening the door to mob justice: just imagine what Trump in a second term, hellbent on “retribution”, would do with fake indictments of his enemies, if they didn’t play along.
