Why do republicans want to eliminate social security?

@ChuckCjmmn Because it was a Democrat program, and they feel those receiving it will always vote for those who will sustain it. That said, I'm shocked at the number of GQP/MAGA seniors who don't realize that the GQP wants to shut down a program they PAID FOR (it's not an entitlement!)!

@evelez704 @HornitoDog @ChuckCjmmn Reagan “borrowed” 2/3 of it’s total value and that loan has never been repaid. SS was designed to match one’s take home pay when they retired, has been manipulated so much that people receive less than 1/6 of the originally intended monthly payment.
