(2/8) One of the biggest challenges community driven organizations have is the inability to reach consensus across proposals.
A lot of the time, proposals get stuck in the voting process because normally it would require 10-15%( 1,000 - 1,500) members of the community to vote.

(3/8) Aside from taking a really long time, proposals can get fairly complex and sometimes, community members might not have the info they need to make a proper decision.

(4/8) This is where delegate voting comes in. Modern governments don't do a true democracy because it's ineffective. Instead, they form a republic where the people elect the ones they feel would best represent their interests. These people are called Delegates.
