@HamasakiLaw What? If my car and 15 other cars on my street had their windows broken, then ys I would feel much less safe. Also, if I saw this sort of rsponse from a government official I'd also feel less safe.

Interesting. Would getting your car window broken and some stuff stolen leave you β€œscarred forever”? Is this what the suburbs do to you? Shelter you from basic city life experiences so that when they happen you are broken to the core?

And my teammates will be scarred forever, being robbed hits you at your core, especially when it’s thousands of dollars of loss. There is no downtown recovery without an aggressive push for safety @LondonBreed

@ericnakagawa @HamasakiLaw Wait, dis guy is partially responsible for fixing the problem and is like πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ it’s a β€œcity?” I have been in many cities large and small through the world and across both hemispheres; SF is the only one where I have felt unsafe.

@ericnakagawa @HamasakiLaw And yet for years when this happens, the cops show up, write a short report and hand you a tracking number and tell you to call your insurance carrier. I live in a suburb and that's what they did. So it's not about cities.

@ericnakagawa @HamasakiLaw And he didn't say that. He said it doesn't leave you scarred forever. It's a property crime, not a violent crime. Get the difference?
