Not only patriarchy, but ableism. Disabled people have been asking for accommodations like this for as long as theyβve been available and yet it somehow isnβt possible until able bodied people need it too. π€

That part. Sudden remote work shed a spotlight (and a really jarring one) for so many individuals with disabilities who suddenly couldn't participate in daily work or academic life.
Even for children with servicesβthis put a wrench in [insert frequency] services for them. π
