is this JT9D powered 747-300F of Dragonair. Miss the sound of these beauts. Was lucky to fly a 747-300 with these engines that same year with Air Atlanta

What a blast from the past! I managed to catch this one scrapped in Mojave a few years back, no doubt it has gone now.

With the stretched SUD and the 'straight-UP' staircase made it a 'little easier. Not many were built. The -400 quickly replaced it. Don't see thr -300 around anymore I think there is less than a handful (if that) left flying. Great pic!!
