While I can appreciate the sheer brutality of this tweet, I think we should be looking at that security team with empathy; many of them didn't build it, and they have their work cut out for them.

This is true, and I have empathy for the folks doing response to these issues, but not a lot for the ones who put them into production.
If it were a plucky startup, I would be far more empathetic due to business and financial constraints. Not so for a company over $1T in value.
