Biology Lesson:
Green + Blue = Blue (The blue eye genes are dominant)
Blue + Brown = 50/50 split chance (both blue and brown eyes are dominant genes)
Therefore:
Mama Archeron (blue) + Papa Archeron (brown) = 50/50 split for their children, specifically a 66/33 result - 🔵🟤🔵

Green eyes are recessive due to them being a genetic mutation and incredibly rare, hence why I’m the only person in my family to have them.

+ it’s rare for the parent to pass on their green eyes, due to brown and blue being dominant.
You’d pass on the green mutated gene, not the eye colour.
So Tamlin has a 0% chance of being Elain’s father, due to basic biology (and reading comprehension)

They’re saying that because she has blue eyes (even though they’re teal) Papa Archeron had an affair and she’s his daughter and Elain, who has HIS brown eyes, isn’t.
It was a huge theory over on tiktok and tumblr 😭
