It takes decades to unlearn everything we were taught about Palestinians. For most of us, the mere act of humanizing Palestinians is a lifelong process. I'm grateful for those who are patiently guiding us through it. What a tragedy that it's even necessary in the first place.

I was born in 1962. The first time I ever heard the word “Palestinian” was when I was ten years old. During the Munich Olympics. People my age are in charge now in Congress. I took time to learn the issues and I see the injustice. But for many that first impression was decisive.

Read a single book or two: Plowshares into swords, Arno J. Mayer and A threat from within: a century of Jewish opposition to Zionism, Yakov Rabkin. From two Historian not apologetics of Jewish nationalism.

No. You’ve been bamboozled by the “palestinian” propaganda machine.. “palestinians”=Arab squatters from the Arabian peninsula. No amount of tweets will change this fact. Also: there will never be a “palestine”. Ever.

You’r half right; Now if the Palestinians were going through the same efforts to unlearn all the hate they are taught about Jews, we might actually get somewhere..
