Chiefs fans I follow have said Mahomes is not throwing to open guys. They are definitely getting separation. Mahomes is not having a good start to this season and any non biased chiefs fan will tell you that.

Receivers are definitely getting open but our offense through the first 5 games have been basically identical statistically to last year. While we usually hit the ground running the past two years have seen slow starts from the receivers.
