is going to argue that the Governors of all of our surrounding states are irresponsibly abandoning abandoning science & data, or that science is different in NJ... then we should be substantially open by June 5, including outdoor dining. Announce this now!!
This figures to be a growing rallying cry: “Other states (NY, PA, FL) have issued guidance that pegs data against clear benchmarks. The people of New Jersey deserve no less.”

I agree we should open now. My point was that all our surrounding states have already given guidance that by June 5 they will be substantially open. Our Governor has not made even that clear. The uncertainty alone is demoralizing. Every day of delay kills hundreds of businesses.

Outdoor dining, indoor dining, retail, and everything else should open without restrictions; take out long term care risk and there is minimal risk to general population, and no justification for this phased reopen and new normal b.s.; just let people live

Purely political-Florida has youth sports, schools, restaurants and shopping, other red states as well. Besides politics what’s different? Ages of the victims are the same across the country. NJ extra deaths are due to bad nursing homes policies all else the same.
