They will likely stop at 3.5-4% again. However they know they need to get there ASAP because they expanded the money supply by 40+ % in the past 3 years. Prepare for 3 or 4 more rate hikes before its all over. Alpha in: Oil, Real Estate [LT], Coal Probs not tech stocks

Between 1981 and 1987, Volcker drove inflation from 8.1% to just under 4%. That took 6 years and change. To go from 4% to 2% took another 15 years. The Fed's current target of 2% is a complete overshoot. It is a narrative to ensure they can be extremely aggressive
