No CEO, investor or rich person wakes up in the morning, looks in the mirror, and says, “Today, I want to go out and create more inequality in America.” And yet, all too often, that is exactly what happens.

I see progress in business leaders like @Benioff , @PaulPolman , #UrsulaBurns , & @RayDalio who recognize that #capitalism needs to change, but we need more to recognize their role, in both the problem & the solution, to save our #democracy .

@darrenwalker Respectfully, IMO, some CEOs DO want to create more inequality. e.g. Betsy DeVos. You are giving them too much credit.

@darrenwalker They wake up in the morning and say: Increase profit margins, reduce labour, increase ROI... all of which conduces to inequalities. So yeap, they do!

@darrenwalker But how many CEO, investor or rich people wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and say, "Today I want to go out and create more EQUALITY in America?" It doesn't just "happen." It happens because the economic system incentivizes personal over collective interest.
