@HeartlandSignal Old Testament Scripture has no place in US Government. In fact, while Christian values are so much a part of American culture, the founding fathers made sure to keep Church and State separate. There were false prophets back in the 1776 era too. OK State Sen. Dusty Deevers (R) is sponsoring a bill to align state false witness penalties with the Bible. "Exodus ... Leviticus ... Deuteronomy ... Proverbs ... Firmly established law in Scripture that if you bear false witness, you will be punished with the same punishment."

@dajennison @HeartlandSignal What they meant was, no state affiliated church. Such as Church of England. State government is a separate issue.
