I just know the type. Could be wrong.
And you grieve as often and as long as necessary. I find myself grieving randomly over a loss from many years ago. Not everyone cries it out in a day and moves on. You are doing fine!

I'm losing my father to alzheimers... he doesn't know anybody any more, is constantly angry or scared. I ugly cry after every call home. You grieve your dad as much and as long as you need to... and screw that guy

oh my god... i lost my dad to brain cancer, & watching someone you love suffer, forget & slowly leave is among the worst things. always here if you want to talk. i remember crying during conversations & desperately trying to go back in time. my heart is always with you. 😭❤️
