I put out a video on Oct 8 and for the first 24 hours, the video got about 34k views but I earned exactly $0.004 of revenue. YouTube support told me "nothing is wrong" and "all is normal." Clearly YouTube gives exactly zero f***s about creators...

@TeamYouTube I just loved the response I got from the support engineer who looked the revenue for my Oct 8, 2022 video and told me "Upon checking and double checking on our end, I would like to assure you that your revenue is working as intended; I do not see any alarming drops"

@craig1black I agree this is not fair. Luckily you have a healthy patron support.

@craig1black Seeing this makes me less inclined to aspire to the YouTube partner program. That and the stories of people losing revenue because they swore or annoyed the almighty algorithm. The effort you and many other creators put in for that slap in the face.

@craig1black The billionaire creators need to create a new platform, friendly to other creators, and with transparency. Some cable channels would be envious of your viewership, and they somehow earn way more money.

@craig1black They knew you were going to contact support to ask about the video not earning any money, so obviously they deducted the cost of the support in advance.

@craig1black I've been enjoying your videos all morning. I'm usually pretty miserable so I hope that makes up for it.

@craig1black Last of care from YT is the main reason I stopped making videos.. I watch your videos all the time and love each and everyone of them.
