@craig1black Semi related, did you ever dig deeper into the raspberry pi4 DPI video on the SE chassis?

@theory_retro Unfortunately no -- I could just not get DPI working properly. It just can't produce the right frequencies without glitching outputs otherwise the output frequencies aren't right. It's sad - there is great potential for it to work, but it's let down by the drivers.

@craig1black That is absolutely amazing and ridiculous. I need to try it when I have proper internet again Supposedly it can even work on the Mac plus!

@craig1black I had a blast playing around with an iOS app that made a 1-bit Mac style either of photos a while back. Brought out some HyperCard nostalgia. β€œHyperCardβ€œ is also apparently in the iOS spell check library. 🀣

@craig1black Love your channel and content. I was wondering if you and Louis Rossman have thought of maybe doing a crossover episode where you send him an old commodore to repair and he send you a macbook. I think it would be cool to see you both take on a project from one another.

@craig1black Reminds me of that scanner you attached to your printer's print head. Remember those?

@craig1black I wonder if this would work better if it used a pattern/bayer ditherer. I *know* it would work better with gamma correction (dithering is inherently linear)
