I was watching The Crown on @netflix and spotted a Commodore PET being used. Completely period correct and appropriate! A TI-2500 calculator can also be seen on the desk. #retrotech

@craig1black @netflix They most likely borrowed them from The Centre for Computing History.

@craig1black @netflix I wonder if it is actually functional or if there is some other movie magic going on.

@timohetzel It'll need it, I can tell that's a 9" CRT so it's got the spot!

@craig1black @netflix I think, the PET with the datassette and the toy keyboard is definitely a classic.

@craig1black @netflix I was watching John Wick 2 yesterday and was amused to spot a C64. Or was it a vic20? 🤔

@craig1black @netflix I watched Back to the Future 2 this evening. The scene with the “antique computer” Macintosh in 2015 is now pretty accurate, apart from it looking brand new and not at all yellow.

@craig1black @netflix I just binged the 'John Wick' films, and noticed they used C64s to track and post updates to the assasins' guild. Lol!🤣
