HP 150 computer. Just figuring it out. Sadly it has issues with it failing system tests with System Test Failed 000C and sometimes 100C. Also this memory test failure 3F08. It is so damn cute though!

@craig1black That's a cool one for sure! Also interesting to see the ealier IR touch screen sensor from before my HP 16500C's ultrasonic. HP stuff is nice, I bet that will be fun to use once you get it sorted.

@AkBKukU Indeed! I had never heard of the 150 before. A MS-DOS 8088 computer that isn't PC compatible. I guess early on HP thought they could compete with IBM? Yeah the IR touch screen is such an oddity to me. Seems like a gimmick more than anything ...

@craig1black So cute! Are the tiny holes in the panel for some sort of optical touch screen? Can't wait to see it in a future video! :)

@FriendlyWire Yep that's right. It's an array of IR beams and when you finger breaks it, it registers a touch in that spot.

@craig1black @thilographie_de Look at that beauty! Is it made in France, by chance? They used to build them very close where I live.

@davbucci @thilographie_de This one was made in the US. I assume HP had plants all over the world?

@craig1black Nice. Not sure if you've got this already, but here's the HP 150 Technical Reference Manual.
