seen a few other disabled people talk about it on tl, but yeah i do wish more had been done for us this disability pride month. i’ve barely seen any non-disabled people talking about it at all. the small amount of support we’ve had has meant a lot. but there’s barely been any :/

i had to delete a post a couple weeks ago because i had several replies making fun of me, calling me ableist slurs ect. some of the people being rude towards me for talking about disability pride month were members of bootwt and also smiletwt . ableism is rampant EVERYWHERE

and the only way we’re going to stop this shit is by acknowledging it all as well as listening to disabled people and supporting us. i’m tired of being made fun of. i’m tired of dealing with stuff in real life and online. and i’m tired of it CONSTANTLY being undermined

because i get called privileged for wanting accessibility. i’m begging non-disabled people to for once listen to our voices. to constantly support us and not just rt one support post during july and then pretend like we don’t exist for the rest. to stop the causal ableism

please. this month has sucked for a lot of us. but there’s still 3 days left. and then the rest of the year too. to just treat us disabled people… like we’re people.

i was supposed to do a space on this topic today however i’ve postponed that due to medical stuff. but it’ll still be happening trust me and i hope myself and other disabled voices can talk and have people listen to us. for once.
