Another, more accurate take Walensky: you didn't test them, because you *knew* the results would undermine your public statements. You couldn't let facts interfere with narrative.

Today: CDC Director Walensky tells Congress that no RCTs were conducted to determine if masks prevent COVID because it was too obvious that they worked. “I’m not sure anybody would have proposed a clinical trial because, in fact, there wasn’t equipoise to the question anymore.”
