@jillajosey Just start bumping it back a few minutes a day until you get to at least an hour.

@bfcarlson Ben if you start delaying caffeine I’m not sure the world can handle the consequences 🤯

@chrisboettcher9 interesting, I have a similar morning. Not based on research, just how I feel. Would add: prayer / medidation / reflection / study.

@RabbiShaul Love that addition. I find the morning walk outside to serve as a great time to reflect, practice gratitude, and pray.

@waronweakness Derailing the day immediately. All about finding meals that provide stable blood sugar and satiety throughout the day.

@chrisboettcher9 I gave up coffee completely about 2 weeks ago. I just can’t believe how much better I feel with the new routine of a pinch of Celtic salt and 32 ounces water. I also can’t believe that I have had no caffeine withdrawal issues after 50 years of 6+ cups of coffee everyday.

@bettybaze Wow that’s a dramatic shift. Impressive going from 6 cups a day to cut it completely 👏

@chrisboettcher9 People mostly failed at eating a protein-dominant breakfast, but it is still a great part of our morning routine!

@chrisboettcher9 Very interesting. What are your thoughts on a starting with a cup of hot water with a slice of lemon in it?

@rorymccomb Add some quality salt and I think it’s a great start. I use lemon regularly as well.

@chrisboettcher9 Delaying caffeine is one of the best “morning hacks” out there. Your alertness and energy levels bounce back after just a few days of pushing the morning coffee back 90 minutes. 💯

@johnnyxbrown Agreed. If you’re going to drink it use it as an effective tool rather than something you’re dependent on.
