Dads don’t need to:
-Deadlift 600 lbs
-Run 100 mile races
-Spend 2+hours/day training
-Count every calorie they eat
Dads simply need to:
-Be present
-Take their health seriously
-Have energy to play with their kids
-Lead their family to a healthy lifestyle

Being a father priorities have to be sorted. It's all good making PRs in the gym. My priority now is to take my health and wealth-building seriously for the long game.

Totally agree Andreas. Your
#1
goal should be longevity and energy for the sake of your family.
Too many fathers go the extreme at the expense of their families.

Nothing wrong with the first list but most need to just get started.

I think I’m a world we’re men are becoming weak , we need to bring forth the need to do hard shit. Being present is hard but deadlifting 600 pounds is hard as well. A combination of both lists is 🔑.
Weak men create hard times, hard times create strong men.

I completely agree. But so many don’t know where to start. Those big goals are incomprehensible if you don’t take your health seriously in the first place. Have to lay foundation with your health, lead your family, and then nothing wrong with setting big personal goals. But it…
@chrisboettcher9
You make a good point, but it's also possible to take care of your health AND be a good father! Shocking, right?
100 mile marathons are a bit extreme if you ask me, but I'd bet it's amazing motivation for one's children to witness.
@DrewRandell
100% man. My point is many dads don’t take their health seriously in the first place. Minimal lifestyle changes would quickly snowball into life change, more presence, and a better example for their kids. At that point, keep leveling up and go do something incredible. But first…
