Okay but cut the bullshit, Conor never having dealt with calf kicks is an indictment on his coach, his gym, and his training partners. SBG is a joke 😂😂
@tiredplatypus
Dustin even said Conor wasn't checking them right, either. He could still catch the meat of the calf because Conor wasn't turning his leg properly to check the kicks. That's even worse.
@jenmillsap
And this is a man who’s entire gameplan was kicks against Nate Diaz. Lmfao I can’t stop laughing at them. How do you learn to throw them but not to check them
@tiredplatypus
I think when we all look back at Conor’s career I think we’re going to appreciate him & his career much more. I believe he has the worst team in MMA around him & that’ll be proven when SBG never gets another fighter close to a championship level.
@DumbassThad
He has been needed to get to another team. John has admitted that Conor controls the fight camps and that’s embarrassing. He pays all their bills and they are afraid of him.
@tiredplatypus
I have to imagine there are people at SBG with a strong Muay Thai background, where checking kicks starts in your first class. Conor has always had a TKD or karate approach where perhaps defense was never a centerpiece or it was different. Either way, that is a problem long-term
@tiredplatypus
Fighting an elite ATT guy in 2021 and not being prepared for calf kicks is an indictment on your coaching staff. On the other side of the coin Mike Brown is one of the best if not the best.
