I love you, Rovelli. Keep writing and visiting podcasts. RQM is awesome but the war in Afghanistan was not unprovoked or "illegal". The Taliban hosted Al Qaeda training camps and protected Osama Bin Laden. 3,000 Americans were murdered on 911. War is bad but it wasn't unprovoked.

I loved your book, but this opinion is so out of touch with reality and is clearly of someone who is not currently having their homeland ripped away or their neighbors and friends killed. Ukraine asked for support, the west doesn't get to choose a "ceasefire".

You are probably unaware of the consequences of an immediate ceasefire and the permission for Russia to occupy Ukrainian land. In a few years, Russia will reach out to the Baltic states, and then to Poland. Did the peaceful annexation of Austria and Czechoslovakia stop Hitler?

Civilian killed in Ukraine are above your number. Afghanistan war was not unprovoked, see September 11. The same for Iraq war see the invasion of Kuwait. Said that do we need to pair those figures to support Ukraine? 🇺🇦

I am against any kind of aggression. It's a fact that western aggressions, in various parts of the world, often go unnoticed. What Ukraine is facing is terrible and it should be stopped. But western aggression in other countries is equally deplorable.
