They didnt literally have delegates present at Berlin, but that doesnt matter cuz Berlin wasnt European powers drawing lines on the map, it defined the legality around colonisation and made the rules for claims to be recognised, Ethiopia understood this and used it to expand

Additionally, they did all this with the help of the colonising powers

this was all while Somalis were greatly outnumbered and under a Europeans arms embargo (that of course didnt apply to Ethiopia)

Furthermore, what is a "made up country"? Aren't all countries made up at one point or another? Do you mean nation? Because Somalis fit the bill.

2) the pure chance of being born a somali entitles one to claim a made up country in east africa- spanning three actually existing countries This is what happens when you have no material and historical understanding of colonialism.

@bronzeagestalin So your logic is that because Ethiopia successfully defended itself against European colonization makes Ethiopia a colonizer? So what should have the Ethiopians done. Sit down and wait while Europeans were encroaching in every direction around them?

@bronzeagestalin Before Britain 'seceded' the ogaden it was already conquered by Ethiopia. Menelik had Harar and its surroundings. You're branding Ethiopia as a coloniser for simply conquering Somalian inhabited territories. Ethiopians simply happened to win and traded with europeans
