There is no reason for Frank Lampard to release a quote like that over Mudryk. Why didn’t you put your arm around him and teach him? Instead you took the easy route, collected your paycheck from the club, and decided to simply criticize him instead.
You were in a position of power, as one of the best midfielders of all time - you could’ve taken him under your wing and educated him. It was easier for you not to do the job you were being paid for and freeze him out of the side.
I cannot tell you how far my respect for Lampard has dropped since he held the management position at this club. As a person, the way he carried himself, comes off as so self-centered and delusional over his abilities as a manager - unappealing.
I was never under the impression that he was sacrificing anything taking over after Potter. He wasn’t concerned about what was best for the club, we continued in a downward spiral, but at least he got paid, right?
@vigilanceEcho
I hate to tell you, but they said the same about Mason Mount didn’t they? Some people are just more interested in themselves than anything else. It is what it is, his legend status, as a player will never change but this was not right.
@breezy_345
Fans are prepared to go against a club legend speaking the truth just for a clueless overpriced footballer. The state of footballer support. Even you in your heart know Frank said the truth.
@dre_mudiaga
Being a club legend doesn’t mean you have the best interest of that former club at heart. Since he retired, he has moved selfishly at the detriment of the well-being of this club. Just because you see it as true, doesn’t mean that needs to be spoken and have it get around…

Right or wrong, it’s down to everyone’s individual opinion. Starting off with the fact that it’s not the players fault our board spent so much money on him, that is a ridiculous argument by Lampard. Secondly, Lampard could’ve taken him under his wing and taught him a thing or two
@breezy_345
Frank didn't release the quote, Harry Redknapp was the one who mentioned it. I don't think he was wrong about Mudryk, he's quick but he's also a novice. He needs guidance from a manager. Lampard was talking to his uncle, of course he'll be honest. I doubt he told Mudryk that.
@breezy_345
Frank didn't 'release' anything.
It's Harry Redknapp, his uncle, quoting Frank from a private conversation between the two of them.
In any case - he wasn't wrong. Everyone with eyes can see Mudryk still has a lot to learn about the game
@breezy_345
Cause he wasn't English... the man propped Mount up like he was the greatest footballer to step on the planet, Lamps had his agenda he wasn't there for Chelsea at that point and definitely did not like the idea of competition for his "star"boy who's turned out to be mid at best
@breezy_345
Blame his loss mouth uncle 🤓, human being talk and Lampard is human enough to have his own opinion. His uncle coming to the media to leak a private convo is the problem, not lampard.
