Timo Werner gave a shit, he put 100% of himself into every match for the badge. He continues to support the team & watch our games even though he’s moved on. Mentality wise, he was the kind of player we need in this dressing room. It’s not wrong to miss someone who cared.

He always fought even if it didn't pay off for him. He worked for us tactically drawing space for runners, plus as you say he actually gave a shit

@CfcSuggs
I loved Werner he never gave up even when things weren’t going his way. Ok he didnt get as many goals as we thought he would but i still love him. And as you say he cared and played for the badge. That for me goes a long way.
@breezy_345
Yep the only down side was,80% of the Twitter fan base wanted him gone and said he was crap, he gave 120% all of the time,it was the midfield to do only one job get the ball to the fucking strikers,well they got rid of him, saying he was the problem? Wow we still have a problem
@breezy_345
Same could be said about Connor Gallagher, he gets put ‘out of his natural position’ every time he is on the pitch’ BUT still gets slandered for being a ‘roadrunner!’ - Perhaps he isn’t good enough for us, but you cannot question he gives his all in each opportunity.
@breezy_345
He definitely cared, but he certainly isn't the answer. I love him, but my God it got so frustrating constantly seeing him pull out of challenges and not putting his body on the line.
@breezy_345
Exactly he was a player who wanted to be here and gave a crap about the club always gave everything on the pitch and we got rid of him yet players who don't care about the club are still here 🤦🏻♂️ would of rather got rid of those players first.
