@MrDanielBuck Interesting premise - def wrong conclusion. “Authoritative teacher” - sorry, I call Bullshit. I wouldn’t want my kids to listen to any authority. Including mine. Teachers should earn kids respect by being a great teacher - not by authority granted to them by status.

@blambroll @MrDanielBuck In my opinion - way better. I’ll have to think about “positive” cases of authority use. None come to mind, just after reading your reply. I can think of many though, when listening to authorities by default had devastating consequences. I’d rather my kids question…
