@RNAppleby Fine. Scrap the NHS and let the market decide their worth.

I am a NHS consultant. I am financially comfortable, in a job I love, so why am I striking tomorrow? Answer: Because the next generation will not be able to live off what I do today. The juniors that will become these consultants know this and are leaving already. Why? 🧡 πŸ‘‡

@benstoneham @RNAppleby You would probably be unable to afford healthcare if you scrapped the NHS

@benstoneham @RNAppleby I believe the right wing response is; if you don't like our system & values, go to America........but only if you have enough money to pay for yourself. FYI, the US private insurance industry is pushing up deductibles & reducing coverage as they drive up profits. Just saying.

@benstoneham @RNAppleby Still need doctors in a private system so we will still have a massive shortage either way.

@benstoneham @RNAppleby The market has already decided Drs worth, it’s an international market & UK Drs are leaving for higher pay & better conditions elsewhere. We already have our answer.
