Trump generally knows what he is doing so I support him for Speaker if that's what he wants to do. It's possible this is just a maneuver for some other end that isn't clear yet.

I love Trump. That being said he shouldn't be Speaker.
Democrats will attack him 24/7 making everyone miserable and Trump will want his idea of a budget passed and that will close the government down past the 2024 election.

President Trump will visit DC early next week to pitch himself to be Speaker of the House
Voters have wanted to see this for a long time and it may become a reality as early as next Wednesday
