The @XDeGods "Empire State of Mind" party was the best event I attended during #NFTNYC2023 . Let me explain why 🧵👇

1/ Most events I went to during #NFTNYC2023 had one thing in common: people were there only to party and nothing else. This was not what I expected as I was going to all these side events to mostly network but that's hard to do when everyone is drunk and grinding on each other.

2/ I also went to some events which required you to be a holder of a certain NFT. I thought at these events I might be able network a bit more as I'd meet more like-minded people. I was wrong again.

4/ Another shit thing at all these other events was the level of noise. They always made the music loud to the extent where you would need to scream to talk. Again, making it difficult to network.

5/ This is why I loved the @XDeGods event. Yes it was a party but people were not there for the sole reason of partying. This event was filled with like-minded high-net-worth individuals. And a big plus was that the event was open to all @DeGodsNFT holders.

6/ There was no one at the event who was drunk. There was no separate "VIP room" you couldn't access. The noise level was controlled & everyone had rooftop access where you could go to if you didn't want to hear any music & just wanted to network more easily. It was all perfect.

7/ The deals I closed during the event was unreal - not in terms of quantity but in terms of quality. When I landed in NYC I had 3 @DeGodsNFT . When I left, I had 7. I will be pushing to get 10 to further tap into the benefits of @XDeGods , as I now realize it's 100% worth it.

8/ I would like to personally thank @XDeGods and @AkashAdvaney for making this event happen. Legendary party with absolute chads. FIWB 🏀🫡
