So, instead of misleading Canadians with this post, remember that the federal government funds Provincial and Territorial. It's a responsibility of the premiers. Since it's their jurisdiction when it comes to homelessness, neglected by Premiers

OMG you are missing the point you are trying to say it's the Federal Government, yet you neglect that the Premier's receive the funding and are not addressing this crisis so now the Federal Government needs to step up and fix this crisis, what is the purpose of have a Premier

The federal government has already proved that jurisdictions donβt matter to them and will step in if they believe itβs important enough. The federal government admitted that they dropped the ball on housing.

The housing funding has strings attached. The funding itself isn't enough to build low income housing, nor does it encourage the building sector. The fact remains: rent rates are competitive with monthly mortgage payments, and it's unaffordable for a good portion of Canadians.

Just look at Ontario I've never seen homeless like that in my life and I'm a senior citizen that's because of low wages , Ont I used to have a living wage I remember that, the conservative got rid of it, Candice got the fastest growing homeless in the world thanks to low wages

give it a rest, they are all responsible. the decriminalization of drugs in Canada along with the rate of inflation and lack of affordable homes all contribute.
