Wholesale prices are 150 per cent higher than 7 years ago when subsidised renewables started to undermine the economics of coal plant. And if renewables are the cheapest form of energy let's save the $7 billion a year that they receive in subsidies.
Renewable energy is the cheapest form of energy, and our growing share of renewables is bringing wholesale prices down.

That’s a complete lie renewables right around the world have made electricity more expensive because they have to be backed up by something usually fossil fuels. So you have to have dual capacity
