2. The then Defence Minister concurred with the DRDO officials views that the right way to go ahead was to support the Akash missiles. At that time, it was then agreed that if the DRDO can add some upgrades which the force wanted, it could be considered by the Army.

Hope there is punitive terms for delay and Quality parameters else the DPSU will take the forces on a ride. Also some sort of responsibility must be on DRDO for the upgrade obligation. Some one must be held accountable and responsible. Perform reward, else perish.
