To be fair, it looks better than the horrible faded ones the clubs have obvs put up at Chelsea, Arsenal etc. Still very naff though. Same applies to the paid flag wavers at some other places when they score. Cringe.
@SzpukyJ
I don’t mind those flags when they score. Just like I didn’t mind the flags they waved with the players faces on when announcing the line ups. All of them are better than fake flags on a screen
@adamcmb_
Rather than just telling fans the flags could no longer be there because of advertising the club replicated then in LEF form. This was done years ago too but well done on only just noticing & getting your knickers in a twist over it.
@adamcmb_
This again. Every time a little club visits they point this out. We have been in the stadium for twenty one years and have had some LED flags for almost as long. What’s the problem? You don’t like lots at supporters clubs flags being on display?
@JennyMJ76
The supporters flags aren’t on display though. The physical, printed and paid for flags have been removed so you can put in adverts. Being a Luton fan I haven’t been to the etihad since 2012
@adamcmb_
It's meant to be a reel of all the supporter clubs around the world, which would be impractical if it was all real flags.
I don't like it either but your take on this is just bizarre. Plastic cus we have screens? Get a grip.
@adamcmb_
I say City are ahead of the times on this one. City several years ago developed electronic copies of what were fans flags. It’s been electronic like this for years. No real story here - just one more sad attempt at calling City.
