the show was so unserious for giving us this vision from the house of undying instead of visions of rhaegar, the mad king, the red wedding, the house with the red door.
literally anything else

Because they were trying to romanticize Daenerys' relationship with her rapist, buyer & husband at 13 and they have success look how many people ships them🙃
@violetautumnal
dany is certainly proud of her targaryen heritage but all she longs for a is a home tbh and to genuinely help the smallfolk in essos. enjoy reading the rest of the series 💕

D&d were really out here changing Danys storyline from the very start🙃
With how they mutilated her storylines, idk why I was even surprised with that stupid ending they made for her.
They always had this weird ass agenda regarding Daenerys

I love this scene because it shows after she lays her torch down (her death), she doesn’t touch the throne so she never sits on it, she goes beyond the wall, says no to death, and returns to the world of the living to claim what’s hers with 🔥 & 🩸

I I think they kept all that to not perpetuate their "Vision" for show and leave dany out what happens in westeros...but for me that scene feels very cathartic for dany even though it romanticizes her relationship with drogo being Goodbye she is giving him his old life.

This one reveals most about Danaerys’ character, I don’t think they cared for R+L=J, the mad king, Or the red door, but what Dany’ a heart craves? That was most important in this scene - I get the frustration from a purists perspective though
