ISCON is scam, Today I visited pandhara pur's ISCON temple simply, expected to eat ' prasada ', thought meal is free, but they asked for 100/- & said they have plan of providing food for free of cost in future by collecting money by now π+

When and which iskcon has ever provided free food.
The donation you pay is for free food not for you, but for mid_day meals for millions govt and other aided school students. It's called Akshay Patra. What you get is a free prasad, regardless of whether you donate anything or not

Why we should pay for mid day meals? Govt. can provide free food from our tax money itself, Why ISKCON is needed? Y we have to pay extra? This mid-day meal is old concept in Karnataka, old govts. used to provide mid-day meal from govt. money without ISKCON.

Depends on the specific temple maybe? The Iskon temple where I live serves simple meals/ prasada for free, though on festivals, people also put up their own stalls where they sell food/ sweets etc.

ISKON is heavily construction and that is one reason they pester for donation. As far as I know, they do provide free food and that is what I have seen. Maybe be someday, I will spy on them to see if they are actually using my donation for providing free food or not. If not,

Yes, Seems they collect money to build only temples everywhere, that's the only motive.

Nope, I wasn't interested to visit, My bro wanted to go as some people suggested, As far as I know in every town it exists but nobody goes much, even during festival.
